A War On Metal: The Battle Against Guns.

Are you for or against gun rights? Obama ISN’T trying to get rid of guns all together, just machine guns. Do you need an AK-47 to go to Safeway? If you are really in that much trouble, that’s what the law is for. Still need a gun? Get a background check, simple as that. Less then a year ago, drugs were illegal. All those Anti-Drug acts and the laws against drugs didn’t help. People still wanted the bitter sugar; same thing with gun laws. These days in age, teens are being arrested for having a gun and making gun threats. On Feb. 18 a 5th grader was taken into custody for having a toy gun. Are we are getting too stressed? Taking away guns is just like putting a Band-Aid on a bullet wound. Spending all this money on laws will only increase the arrest numbers, not decrease the shooters. Whatever our solution is to this decision, let’s make it a rational one.
The Grammy’s have just passed and all of its highlights are being viewed. Music’s biggest night was a night to remember. The Grammy’s included appearances by Beyonce, Carly Rae Jepsen and Jenelle Monae. Taylor Swift opened up the night with a performance of “I knew you were trouble”. In addition, Rihanna performed her newest hit “Stay”. Maroon 5 and Alicia Keys performed “Girl on Fire and Daylight” as a remix. With that said you can never forget the big winners of the night: best new artist, F.U.N and record of the year “Somebody that I used to know” by Gotye feat. Kimbra.

The new XLVll champions the Ravens battled Denver and New England and won the championship game against San Francisco. What a sight it was, to see Joe Flacco throw down the field Jacoby Jones kick return to the end zone. Ray Lewis number 52 ends his career off with purple fireworks. They return to Baltimore as a star to celebrate with all their fans on the streets of Baltimore.
